Empowering Connections, Confidence, and Community
Our Group and Centre Activities are thoughtfully designed for individuals with disabilities to take part in inclusive, enjoyable, and structured experiences that encourage personal development, social interaction, and community engagement.
Every program is tailored to each participant’s goals and interests, creating a supportive environment where individuals can grow, build meaningful relationships, and enhance their overall wellbeing.
Purpose of Group and Centre Activities
Our Group and Centre Activities are more than just social gatherings — they’re pathways to greater independence, confidence, and happiness. Through these programs, participants can:
- Build and strengthen social connections with peers and their local community.
- Develop life skills through guided, hands-on experiences.
- Take part in recreational, educational, and therapeutic activities that support mental and physical health.
- Boost independence and self-esteem in daily life situations.
- Have fun while exploring new interests in a safe, inclusive, and nurturing setting.
NDIS Funding for Group and Centre Activities
Under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), Group and Centre Activities can be funded through the Capacity Building or Core Supports budget categories. These supports are designed to help participants reach their personal goals, improve social skills, and build confidence through community participation.
