What Our Assist Travel and Transport Service Includes
We offer flexible travel support tailored to your individual situation, including:
- Public transport training — learn to navigate buses, trains, and trams independently.
- Transport services to help participants travel independently or with support, for example to appointments, community activities, work, or education. Can include travel training or provision of a support worker to drive.
- Private transport assistance — support with taxis or personal transport for participants unable to travel alone.
- Community access — travel to appointments, workplaces, education, shopping, or social activities with ease.
Our team ensures you reach your destination safely and on time, while promoting your confidence and independence in travel.
Who Can Access This Support
You may be eligible for NDIS-funded travel and transport assistance if your disability impacts your ability to travel independently. This support can be included in your NDIS plan under:
